I took liberties with the ingredients and made it my own.\u00a0 It is a perfect combination of red and green for the holidays and the fresh thyme\u00a0 is reminiscent of\u00a0 turkey dinner.<\/p>\n<div class=\"shortcode-ingredients\"><h3>Dressing<\/h3><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 tbls cranberry sauce<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 teas fresh thyme<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 tbls honey<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 small clove of garlic, chopped<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 tbls red wine vinegar<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 1\/2 teas balsamic vinegar<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 tbls olive oil<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">fresh ground pepper to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"shortcode-ingredients\"><h3>Salad<\/h3><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 package of mixed salad greens<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/2 cup alfalfa sprouts<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/4 cup dried cranberries<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/4 cup walnuts, chopped<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"shortcode-directions instructions\"><h3>Directions<\/h3><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>To make salad dressing combine everything in a small food processor except the olive oil.\u00a0 With motor running on low speed drizzle in olive oil.<\/li>\n<li>Put salad greens, sprouts, cranberries and walnuts in a salad bowl and either toss with dressing just before serving or serve the dressing on the side.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><\/div>\n\n<p>Other festive additions could be red and green peppers, green onions, broccoli, etc.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I found this recipe at a local grocery store who runs cooking classes.
