{"id":438,"date":"2015-02-07T19:59:31","date_gmt":"2015-02-07T19:59:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ravenview.com\/recipes\/?p=438"},"modified":"2015-02-07T20:16:44","modified_gmt":"2015-02-07T20:16:44","slug":"lebanese-kofta","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ravenview.com\/recipes\/lebanese-kofta\/","title":{"rendered":"Lebanese Kofta"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"shortcode-ingredients\"><h3>Ingredients<\/h3><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 lb ground lamb<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/2 cup finely chopped onion<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 cup bread crumbs<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 egg<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 clove minced garlic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"shortcode-ingredients\"><h3>Spice mixture<\/h3><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/4 cup dried parsley<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 tbls allspice<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 tbls garlic powder<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/2 tsp ground paprika<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/2 tsp ground black pepper<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 tsp salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n\n<p><strong>(Note: you will only use 1 tbls of spice mixture per pound of lamb)<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"shortcode-directions instructions\"><h3>Directions<\/h3><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Soak bamboo skewers for 30 minutes before prepping (or use stainless steel skewers).<\/li>\n<li>Preheat an outdoor grill to high heat.<\/li>\n<li>Mix the lamb with the onion, minced garlic, bread crumbs and egg. Add 1 tbls of the spice mixture and mix thoroughly in a large glass bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Wet fingers and hands (or coat fingers and hands with a bit of olive oil) and mold meat mixture around skewers in a long, oblong log shape.<\/li>\n<li>Grill until meat is no longer pink.
