Millet….bird seed, right?\u00a0 Not so.\u00a0 This underused and undervalued grain can be used alone or combined with other grains in hot cereals, salads, soups, pancakes, meat loaf….you get the idea.\u00a0 It is the zucchini of the grain family.\u00a0 We made this hot breakfast cereal as an alternative to oatmeal.\u00a0 Although the cooking time is longer than oats you can use that time take a shower, read the paper, check your email, etc. while it simmers.<\/p>\n
