{"id":530,"date":"2015-02-08T19:43:06","date_gmt":"2015-02-08T19:43:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ravenview.com\/recipes\/?p=530"},"modified":"2015-02-08T20:07:06","modified_gmt":"2015-02-08T20:07:06","slug":"ultimate-quiche","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ravenview.com\/recipes\/ultimate-quiche\/","title":{"rendered":"Ultimate Quiche"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have made this for a weekend brunch and had it with a salad and a fruit tray.\u00a0 We buy the smoked Swiss cheese from Sweet Williams at the Seaport Farmers&#8217; Market in Halifax.\u00a0 If smoked Swiss is not available where you live choose another mild smoked cheese.<\/p>\n<div class=\"shortcode-ingredients\"><h3>Ingredients<\/h3><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Pastry for one 9&#8243; pie shell<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">3\/4 cup smoked Swiss Cheese<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/2 cup Parmesan cheese<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/4 cup green onions chopped<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">6 eggs<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 cup cream<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">3 teas Worcestershire sauce<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">3\/4 teas dry mustard<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">3\/4 teas salt<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/8 teas pepper<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/8 teas nutmeg<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"shortcode-directions instructions\"><h3>Directions<\/h3><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Put cheeses and onions into the bottom of the pie shell.<\/li>\n<li>Beat together the remaining ingredients and pour into pie shell over the cheese and onions.<\/li>\n<li>Bake in a 375 F degree oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
