We discovered chai tea on a trip to Vancouver at a coffee shop called Blendz. We became addicted and sought out chai tea back home at Starbucks. After spending hundred of dollars on store bought chai tea I found a recipe to make it from scratch. The recipe only made a couple of cups of tea and it seemed if I was going to make it I would have to make a much larger batch. I have girlfriends who love this tea so when I make it I need more than a couple of cups. I came up with the following recipe which will make about 4 liters. You can adjust the spices to come up with a taste that you like and also use green tea loose or in bags. It is shockingly simple to make and makes everyday a chai tea day.
