{"id":768,"date":"2015-03-11T20:22:51","date_gmt":"2015-03-11T20:22:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ravenview.com\/recipes\/?p=768"},"modified":"2015-03-11T20:22:51","modified_gmt":"2015-03-11T20:22:51","slug":"spanikopita","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ravenview.com\/recipes\/spanikopita\/","title":{"rendered":"Spanikopita"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"shortcode-ingredients\"><h3>Ingredients<\/h3><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 tbls olive oil<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 small onion, finely diced<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 lb bag of spinach<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">salt and pepper<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/4 teas nutmeg<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 egg, beaten<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">3 tbls ricotta<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">phyllo pastry dough<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">3 tbls melted butter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"shortcode-directions instructions\"><h3>Directions<\/h3><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Steam spinach, drain and dry on paper towels. Saute onions in olive oil. Combine in bowl with nutmeg, salt and pepper, feta, egg and ricotta.<\/li>\n<li>Melt butter and brush on 9 X 13 pan.<\/li>\n<li>Lay in first layer of phyllo, brush with butter, add second layer, brush with butter, and so on until you have 4-6 layers.<\/li>\n<li>Add 1\/2 of the spinach mixture.
