{"id":995,"date":"2015-08-21T00:18:03","date_gmt":"2015-08-21T00:18:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ravenview.com\/recipes\/?p=995"},"modified":"2015-08-21T16:28:33","modified_gmt":"2015-08-21T16:28:33","slug":"shrimp-on-a-stick","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ravenview.com\/recipes\/shrimp-on-a-stick\/","title":{"rendered":"Shrimp on a Stick"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This recipe is so simple and so very tasty that I had to share it although I cannot take credit for it.\u00a0 My niece, Kim, and her husband Richard made these for us while we were visiting the Morgans in PEI.<\/p>\n<div class=\"shortcode-ingredients\"><h3>Ingredients<\/h3><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">400 grams raw frozen shrimp, 41-60 count<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">4 lemons<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">4 cloves garlic, crushed<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/4 cup olive oil<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">metal skewers or wooden skewers soaked in water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"shortcode-directions instructions\"><h3>Directions<\/h3><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat the barbeque.<\/li>\n<li>Thaw the shrimp in the fridge overnight.\u00a0 Remove the shrimp shell from the body but leave the shell tail section on.<\/li>\n<li>Cut the lemons in half lengthwise and then in 3-4 sections.\u00a0 The lemons have to be left big enough to thread on the skewers.<\/li>\n<li>Thread the shrimp and the lemons on skewers alternating 1 shrimp, 1 piece of lemon, 1 shrimp, 1 piece of lemon&#8230;.and so on.<\/li>\n<li>Combine the garlic and the olive oil.
