We are quite happy that we gave new life to this old favourite. This wooden garden bench with cast iron sides has been with us for about twenty-five years and we finally got around to replacing the old rotting wood slats and replace them with new Red Oak ones. It was a great project and came out looking better than expected. In fact, it looked so nice when completed it was decided that it should reside on the garden patio instead of in the woods up on the hill as originally planned. 🙂
