Here’s a couple of small Ash boxes for craft supplies that we completed recently. They were made using the cutoffs from the Tiny Tree boxes.

Originally, the thought was that we would put lids on them and they would just be cute little boxes for knick-knacks but necessity dictated that they’d were to be used for our granddaughter’s pencils and crayons. Now, as an open tray, they are perfect for her small hands, allowing her to easily access her crayons, coloured pencils and markers.

They are approximately 6″ x 4″ x 2″ and like the boxes for the Teeny Tiny Trees they are put together with box joints.

The Ash was left natural but with a clear coat finish to give a bit of protection for what we hope is years of active use.
