The peony is named after Paeon, a student of Asclepius, the Greek god of medicine and healing. Asclepius became jealous of his pupil and Zeus saved Paeon from the wrath of Asclepius by turning him into the peony flower, and we’re so glad that he did!<\/p>\n
We have two different Peony bushes, one blossoms with big white flowers with a hint of light pink and the other with smaller dark pink flowers. Both of them are equally as beautiful!<\/p>\n
