Spent all weekend woodturning!<\/p>\n<p>With the better-half off visiting family in Newfoundland this past weekend I spent the last few days sneaking butter and playing in the shop turning. Always great fun, avoiding chores and responsibilities for a few days at home. A definite staycation!<\/p>\n<p>Was able to turn nine wooden bowls; five Maple, three Cherry and one Ash. They range in size from 7&#8243; to 13.5 inches.<\/p>\n<p>Will do the branding, texturing, staining etc. to these bowls throughout the next couple of weeks&#8230; along with all those other daily duties!<\/p>\n<p>~T<\/p>\n<p>Back to the shop&#8230;\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While the cat&#8217;s away the mice will play!
