Almost ten years to the day since we first built the Oak wall bed we have completed a pair of matching shelves for each side of it!
Although originally planned we delayed the build because of other furniture in the room. Now, with the furniture gone, the time was right to finally put this long-time project, well… to bed.
We like how they bring the whole room together and adds the extra storage space.
The cabinets stand 74″ (188cm) tall and 22″ (56cm) wide and 11 7/8″ (30cm) deep.
The wall bed has allowed this room to be used for a multitude of things, from a sitting room for Mom to a craft room and gallery. Within minutes it can be transformed back into a bedroom. We wonder sometimes why we don’t have them it every bedroom.
