Rice And Beans
Ingredients
- 2 tbls butter
- 1 tbls oil
- 1 green pepper, deseeded and sliced
- 1 red pepper, deseeded and sliced
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 cup long grain rice
- 1/2 teas celery seeds
- 1/2 teas dried marjoram
- 2 cups stock
- 1 14oz can black beans
Directions
- Heat butter and oil.
- Add peppers and onions.
- Saute until translucent.
- Add the garlic, rice, celery seeds.
- Cook for 5 min. until rice is golden.
- Add marjoram and stock and cook until rice is done.
- Fold in black beans.
