This heavy handcrafted wooden cutting board features a variety of beautiful woods that include Wenge, RedMaple and Padauk.
Wenge comes from West Africa and is a very hard wood that’s nearly all black but also has slightly lighter brown streaks. This colour and contrast gives it a unique and very appealing appearance.
Maple is probably the most popular hardwood in the world. It ranges in color from a creamy white to a reddish brown. It’s recognized for both its durability and long-lasting beauty.
Padauk, pronounced pah-DUKE. It is an exotic wood that comes from central and west Africa and ranges in colour from a pinkish orange to a deep brownish red.
