Backyard Bandits! Using a motion activated camera we discovered what was digging for grubs in our yard lately. As you can see here that there were three masked culprits.
After this we set up our motion activated Scarecrow and the following night there were two photos; one where a fellow entered the perimeter and the next photo showed him quickly leaving:
The following night there were no photos which means they never returned.
We don’t that just one scare would have worked. Shortly after this a neighbour told us that he has seen them in his bird feeder. We figure that either they ate all the grubs or they like bird seed more.
If we have the problem again perhaps we’ll just make sure that our neighbours feeders are full of seed! 🙂
