Here is a spalted wooden bowl made of Yellow Birch that came from the Hardwood Lands area of Nova Scotia.
The beautiful, wild grain of the spalt is accented by a knot hole that draws one’s eye. This is truly a unique bowl, in fact, it is the only one like it in the world! 🙂
The bowl is 23cm (9″) in diameter and approximately 7cm (3″) tall. It is finished with a Walnut oil and wax blend that gives it a rich, warm hue and a satiny touch.
