We picked a large bowl of our winter spinach today. It was the spinach that we planted in October of last year. The hoops really came through for us, allowing to get a great jump start on our growing season.
We had been harvesting and eating it since sometime in February but this was the last of it. There was a lot left and we could have probably for a few more weeks out of it but we needed the box to start some more beans.
We have more spinach coming in a couple of weeks so this, along with the lettuces and other greens that are now available, will see us through.
Looking forward to a big spinach salad!
Back to the garden…
