How’s it going? Us? We’re just muddling through… makng mojito muddlers that is!
We were at D’s sister’s cottage last month for a small family gathering and some of the family members we making Mojitos, the traditional Cuban highball which consists of white rum, sugar, lime juice, sparkling water and mint. The lime juice is added to sugar and the mint leaves and then the mixture is mashed with a muddler. Since they didn’t have a muddler they were using an array of things to do the rushing and mixing. Well, it was pretty obvious what we had to make when we got back home!
THey will also work great for making Caipirinhas, Caipiroskas and Mint Juleps!
