Vampires Beware!

Here’s an awesome bunch of gorgeous garlic we just harvested!

Garlic is one of the easiest crops to grow. You plant them in the Fall using cloves that you saved from that year’s harvest and just wait. Really, it’s that easy! 🙂 Garlic is also one of those crops that gives a double harvest; in early to mid-July you harvest the delicious scapes and then in late July or early August you harvest the cloves.

The hard part now is waiting for them to dry and cure over the next few weeks before enjoying them… we also have to remember to not eat the largest cloves so that we can plant them in the Fall for next year’s crop too! 🙂
